My first attempt at a Blog. The weather still cold and miserable, a week ago in the late afternoon there was one or two bees having a quick look outside, but nothing scince. Lets hope we get the barbeque summer promised last year
Poor weather over here +10°C! After a nice long cold (down to -20°C) it is worryingly warm. The bees are out 'feeding the flowers' which is good. But there is condesation under the lids of the hives. Just playing to see how this works. Today it was calm, sunny and only a light breeze. The temperature in the shade was 4 degrees (c) and my two wee nucs were flying and bringing back pollen. It always is.
