First cucumber!!!

Yay! First cucumber of the year harvested, and v yummy it is too. All the faffing about of bringing seedlings intot he house at night and back to the greenhouse in the morning defintiely worthwhile.....

Cucumbers are definitely a crop to stick in the back garden. We tried them once up on the allotment, but they definitely benefit both from close TLC and picking them just at the right time.

Haven't tried cucumbers before (is first year of having greenhouse).... down to beginners luck I reckon!

Cucumbers are great, they seem to grow despite my best efforts unlike somethings. Rhubarb is supposed to be easy but we've managed to kill it every time we've tried growing it. :(
