I will be starting out with bees soon and am looking for hives and equipment available for sale. Live in the sutherland area. Also looking for a swarm from Bees. Please email prices

Hi Rorylowe1,

Welcome to the forum. You will need to source your bees from your local area as I think most of or all of Sutherland is varroa free, therefore you don't want to take bees from other varroa areas in Scotland. Have you tried your local association for help?

I have heard a that a community organisation that has folded is about to sell brand new equipment through the Scottish Beekeeping Magazine. Keep an eye out and you may pick up a bargain.
