Sunshine and bees

Hi Everyone and a happy new year to all. just thought I would let you all know that my bees have been out flying today in the lovely January sunshine. No sign of any snowdrops crocus yet but good to see them all out after being couped up for the past two months. I am enjoying the forum and the information available its great.

Like you I have been watching my bees out and about over the last couple of days. It was very reassuring after not seeing any bees during all the snow, to see the ladies enjoying a well earned stretch of their wings. I have a few snowdrops poking up through the soil now, so hopefully spring isn't too far away.

Mine were all out at the weekend to empty their bowels. Snowing here again in the south of germany which is brilliant news - the ladies are all back in their boxes and will idealy stay there for at least another 4 weeks! Long may the minus temperatures continue! (Well till the willow blossoms at least!).
