It was breezy in Fife overnight. One or two hive lids off. Predicted to get worse.

Ditto Aberdeen - few nuc box lids off.
Just a breeze for me and then the air temperature increased markedly.

I was in the apiary during the worst of it - late morning or so - desperately trying to tie things down with ratchet traps as Abelo roofs whizzed past my ears. I've now got some hives held down with 25kg of fondant. Only one hive came off the stand and I think it's probably OK.
Whilst I was there I managed to slip a clearer under a couple of supers with barely a bee disturbed ... because that hive was in the shed. A maelstrom outside and tranquility in :)
