Does anyone have any experience of operating an Observation hive all year round. how would it work for treating for mites, Swarm control, feeding etc.
Iam looking at having an observation hive in a nature room where members of the public can observe the bees at work. I have not really worked out the details ,but plan on having the bees entering the hive through a hole in either a window or wall. This will be for next year so plenty of time to plan.
