Yesterday I went to see my main apiary and was surprised (despite you tipping us off) to find the snowdrops out across the estate. Thought they might be out just here and there. It is too cold for the bees to make anything of it though. Maybe that will be the pattern this spring, flowers too early for the bees.

It is a quiet time usually for the forum. This year we have one regular sunning himself on a far-off beach, another nursing a bad cold, one preparing to move home whilst catching up on work and nursing painful condition .... plenty of excuses!

Aye I need to get my beekeeping head on and start hanging around here a bit more. Things kick off properly for me in february when I'm giving 3 talks.
