Ok guys, anyone around West Lothian got some free time on their hands? Ive been given a huge piece of land by my local council to set up an apairy for next year. So im looking for volunteers (with tools) to come along and help get the place ready. It is a wooded area but also has a few open spaces that needs cleared out.

Also will be willing to let other keepers put bees in the area in you can help out with the work.

Bit far for me to travel I'm afraid, but that sounds really good news. Please keep us updated as to your progress, I know I certainly find it interesting to see how a piece of land ends up transformed so I hope you're taking some photos :)
