He might be using his hind legs to remove part of the anatomy of a previous suitor! Maybe this wasn't a picture suitable for family viewing and guesswork on what's happnin'?

The SBA weren't worrying about the family viewing of their mating bumble bees on the front cover of Oct Newsletter! Seems the Bumbles are into tantric in comparison - what is the average mating time of the honeybee?
