So this year I've decided to take a hive up to the heather. They've been up there a week now and one super has been drawn and 3/4 full of nectar so if the weather holds up it could be a fairly successful trip.
The problem I have is a lack of removing the honey from the supers and I don't really want to cut the comb to remove it.
So, I was wondering if anyone would be removing heather honey this year (based near Edinburgh) and would be up for a bit of an exchange, a helping hand from me for the day in exchange for a hand extracting my honey.
Hopefully hear from someone soon.
Cheers.
